Hello!

I'm Catherine, and I'm a writer and artist inspired by my own personal experiences with chronic sickness and disabilities, the goofy and spontaneous sense of humor of my children, and my love for chickens and frogs! 

As a stay-at-home and neurodivergent mom, finding the time and energy to do part-time work has historically been nearly impossible. However, the night I began the project of writing this very personal story, flood-gates were opened and I have never felt creative energy flow so easily and unburdened like it has with Mostly Hard Days over the last year. I'm so glad that you're here on my little slice of internet!
